Business Beat: Sales Across the Village, New Signs Go Up

The Business Beat, or Biz Beat for short, is a new column here at Babylon Village Patchdedicated to highlighting big sales or business announcements from every shop in Babylon Village and West Babylon.

New Signs at Eternal, Carter's

Wednesday was a busy day for Babylon-area businesses. In the Village,  installed a new awning sign at its 11 West Main Street location. The black awning gives the spa a similar look to its neighbors next door at Posh Salon and fills in the unused sign area and previous awning facing the roadway.

Carter's, still on pace to open later this month, was putting the final touches on its own new sign and outside facade. The children's clothing store exterior matches larger chain stores in the Great South Bay Shopping Center, using a chizzled stone look rather than the painted wood used throughout the shopping area. The store, nearing completion, should open soon.

On-Going Sales Throughout Babylon

With school around the corner, it's a great time to check out some local shops for supplies and sales. Among the sales we noticed were the following:
