Cathy's Cuts Moving to Shore Road in Sept.
Popular barber shop moving within the village to a new storefront.
A Babylon Village barber shop will be packing up and heading for the shore – Shore Road, that is – come September.
Cathy's Cuts, the barber shop located at 25 Deer Park Avenue, alerted customers and locals last week that the shop will move to a new storefront on September 3.
According to the signs, the new barber shop will be located at 6 Shore Road, or one block south of the Babylon Bike Shop.
Cathy's Cuts has been located in its main business district spot for several years, iconically displaying an vintage children's barber stool race car in its shop window that always attracted a gaze or two from visitors.
There was no immediate word on a future tenant for the Deer Park Avenue space.
