Crunch Gym Opening New Location in West Babylon
Fitness club will replace vacant storefront left by former Rite Aid two years ago.
It's time to get physical – Crunch Gym will be opening a new fitness club on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon.
The new gym will replace a vacant storefront that was formerly operated as Rite Aid over two years ago. The spot has remained empty ever since the pharmacy was closed.
The new health club will reportedly have over 80 pieces of cardio equipment, a variety of fitness machines and free weights, tanning beds, personal training and group fitness equipment.
The gym focuses on a similar philosophy as the popular Planet Fitness franchise – "no judgements."
"We’re the originators of the No Judgments philosophy, which invites all types of people to experience exercise," according to the Crunch West Babylon website. "We designed our workouts to be fun, so going to the gym is never a drag."
The gym is already beginning the building process inside of the former Rite Aid at 369 Little East Neck Road.
Discounted memberships are being offered, according to their website, for a limited-time price of $9.95 a month.
The gym will join a slew of places to workout nearby, including World Gym and Fitness Incentive.
