Del Fuego Hosting Taco Tournament on Thurs.
The first place winner will take home $100 in cash!
Del Fuego South, the Tex-Mex restaurant located on Deer Park Avenue, will host its first annual Taco Eating Contest this Thursday.
The contest will kick off at 7 p.m. on September 5, just before the start of the first NFL game of the season as defending champions Baltimore Ravens take on the Denver Broncos.
Prizes for the person who consumes the most tacos include $100 cash for first prize as well as $50 and $25 Del Fuego gift cards for second and third prize, respectfully.
Entry for adults in the contest will be $10 while children age 12 and under can also enter the contest for $5.
All contestants will receive a custom contest tee shirt to take home for their efforts.
Those interested in taking part can register at the restaurant's bar anytime before Thursday.
