Fire Island Shave Ice Holds Grand Opening
New business cuts the ribbon to officially open to the public.
One of the village's newest dessert options recently celebrated its official grand opening in style.
Fire Island Shave Ice, a flavored shaved ice shop, recently opened its doors on 450 Fire Island Avenue, just a short walk away from the docks.
The new dessert hotspot has been popular with residents from the village and out-of-towners and the storefront always seems to be filled with customers.
The shop has recently introduced "fall flavors" including candy apple, caramel, toasted marshmallow and Irish cream, so give them a try!
