Last Chance: Last Hope Animal Rescue 5th Annual Golf Outing

Local animal shelter will host its fifth annual golf outing to raise money to help save pets.

If you were looking for a way to give back to your community and have some fun, do we have the event for you today.

Last Home Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation, a Wantagh and Huntington-based animal rescue and adoption center, will host it's Fifth Annual Golf Outing at the Bergen Point Golf Course in West Babylon.

The event, started in 2008, features a day of golfing overlooking the Great South Bay and finishes with a wonderful dinner at the Clubhouse. During the dinner, silent and Chinese auctions will take place for great items to take home!

All donations and money for play or dinner will go towards helping Last Home taking care of more abandoned pets or other local animal community outreach programs like Fix-A-Feral.

Registration for the event starts at 10:30 a.m. and golfing gets underway at 12:00 noon. Head out for $175 a person or bring a four-person group and get in for $600 altogether (a $50 savings). This fee also includes an open-bar dinner later that evening at 6:00 p.m.
