Little Lash Boutique Gets A Permanent Home in the Village

New eyelash-focused shop takes over storefront empty less than two weeks.

Empty storefronts do not have a long lifespan in Babylon Village – the Little Lash Boutique will open up in the former Coastal Island Treasures location later this month.

Owner Joann Donnelly, a village resident herself, told Patch she has been running her eyelash company for a while now, and was happy to finally find a home along Deer Park Avenue.

"It's not another salon," Donnelly said. "Anything that has to do with eyelashes, we'll have."

The boutique will specialize in eyelash extensions, serums and mascaras to help other women feel beautiful. Donnelly said she can give consultations on what type of lashes work best for each woman during their visits to the boutique.

She even compared the shopping process at the soon-to-be-open shop to a candy store.

"Think about the times you go into a candy store, filling up your bag with all the goodies you could want," she said. "That is what it will be like for anyone who wants them."

Donnelly and her family were working on making some modifications to the small storefront this week and expected to have the shop open sometime this month.

She added that she was looking forward to joining the business district and seeing her fellow village residents stop by.

The shop takes over the small storefront formerly operated as Coastal Island Treasures for the last eight years.
