Monsoon, Nocturne Make Newsday Top Restaurants Lists

Babylon restaurants noted for their unique menu items and atmosphere.

Monsoon and Nocturne, two of Babylon Village's newest restaurants, made Newsday's fine dining critic Peter Gianotti's top restaurants list for 2012.

Monsoon, the Asian Kitchen and Bistro located in the old Bank of Babylon building on Deer Park Avenue, was noted for its "electric, pan-Asian reverie." Newsday said the restaurant "reinvigorated dining in Babylon" with its chef, Michael Wilson.

The restaurant was given a four-star rating and a number-one ranking.
