Tara Graham Prince voted for a Chipolte Mexican Grill location, and other commenters agreed with a need for a Dunkin' Donuts or a 7-11.

A Dunkin' Donuts was considering a location near the train station last year but did not complete the application process.

What do you think? Would you be happy to see more national chains in Babylon Village or would you rather independent businesses move in?

LIRR Quiet Car: Does the Babylon train need a silent spot?

On commuters and train riders if the Babylon branch of the LIRR needs a "quiet car," the railroad's new experiment to designate a car on peak trains a no-electronics, no-conversation zone.

An overwhelming majority of respondents said, yes, the quiet cars would offer a needed service to local commuters. 71% of you were in favor of the program. Only 9% of readers were against the idea.
