Vision Works Joining Great South Bay Shopping Center
Vision Works, a partner of Davis Vision, will fill in the last vacancy of the former Blockbuster/F.Y.E. pad in West Babylon.
Vision Works, an eye care and designer eyeglasses store, will be opening up a locaiton in the Great South Bay Shopping Center in West Babylon later this year.
Vision Works will be located at 701 Montauk Highway, the former home of most of Blockbuster's West Babylon location. The video rental store closed almost two years ago around December 2010 in an effort to transition the company to online sales.
According to a spokesperson from Mall Properties, Inc., which owns the shopping center, the location is the last to be rented out to from what used to be the former Blockbuster and F.Y.E. storefronts. in the location furthest north, followed by the currently open Weight Watchers and in September to the next available location.

No word was given on the expected opening date for Vision Works and it appears that no work has begun in the location.
Work has continued on the future Carter's location, which is expected to have its grand opening later this month.
