Police: Manorville Man Arrested for Two-Decade…

UPDATED: Stores, Businesses Open Between Blue Point and W. Sayville

The latest re-opening is in Sayville at Ooh La La.

This story is updated as more businesses let Patch know they've re-opened.

Depending on damage, and back-up systems in place, a business can take as much time to re-open as a homeowner takes to get water out of a basement or driveways cleared.

Patch took a drive from Bayport to Oakdale Wednesday and noticed a few local business are doing business.

Be careful driving as most, if not all, Montauk Highway traffic lights are out.

Here's a quick list of what's open. We've been updating it as readers send in additions. Please add to it if you can so readers have an idea of where to go if they need something.

...As just posted on our Facebook page: Yet another hospital update... The power was just cut from the building in order to do repairs in the surrounding area. Dr. Caporaso is on call and can be reached on his cell at 631.882.6737. We are so very sorry for the inconvenience, but it really is for the great good of our neighbors, and know that like us, you totally understand that! I promise that will continue to keep you posted and informed... And as always, thanks, Friends!
