There are several meetings taking place this week that Patch will be covering and to make sure residents don't miss this week's news here is a list of what's to come.

It's a busy week in the village, with school board, library trustee and village administration meetings taking place. On Saturday there's the first ever Founder's Day event as well.

The Babylon Chamber of Commerce meeting will take place Monday evening, at 6:30 p.m., at Horace and Sylvia’s on Deer Park Avenue.

The Babylon School Board will hold its second public hearing Monday on its initial budget proposal on Monday evening, at 7:30 at the high school library.

The Babylon Village Board will meet Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. at village hall.

On Wednesday the Babylon Public Library will hold a public hearing on its budget proposal. The meeting will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the library.

On Saturday Babylon Village will hold its first-ever Founder’s Day event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.with speeches from Mayor Ralph Scordino and Legislator Wayne Horsely part of the full day of events happening at the Conklin House, the Babylon Historical Society and the old Town Hall.
