Adopt-A-House Hosting Sandy Benefit Cruise

Charity event will include live music, open bar and dancing out on the bay.

Local non-profit organization Adopt-A-House will host a "Sunset Cruise to Nowhere" on the Great South Bay to help benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy on August 2.

The cruise will leave aboard the Captain Eddie B III from the Captree State Boat Basin in Babylon at 6 p.m. and feature four hours aboard the ship on the Great South Bay.

The cruise will include live music, a DJ, dancing, food and an open bar for those attending.

According to Adopt-A-House, all profits from ticket sales go directly to the organizations free programs for local residents and helping Long Islanders recover from Hurricane Sandy.

All on-board donations will go towards three other local organizations: Sandy Support, Massapequa Style and Lindy Manpower.

Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased online here.

Those interested in sponsoring the August 2nd event can contact Christina Galante at christina@adoptahouse.org or (631) 422-8265.
