Tuna Club Holding Youth Day This Friday

The Babylon Tuna Club will be hosting a “Youth Day” for the children of Hurricane Sandy this Friday at the Babylon Village Docks.

The event will include a boat ride on the Captain Eddie B III out of Captree State Park for an all-morning fishing adventure on the Great South Bay.

The event is free for children that endured the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and hardships in the wake of the storm in our area.

Lunch, soda and snacks will be provided for the children going along for the journey and fishing poles and bait will also be offered for us on the trip.

The adventure will leave from the Babylon Village Docks at 9 a.m. and return by 1 p.m.

The event is sponsored by Century 21, Nassau Fire Apparatus, Owens Construction, the Babylon Tuna Club and Babylon Neighbors Supporting Neighbors.

Reservations for the trip are necessary and space for 85 children is limited. To reserve a spot for your child, call (631) 661-7200.
