Help Babylon Varsity Cheerleaders Get to Nationals

The Babylon Varsity Cheerleading team is heading to a national competition – with your help, that is.

The team is looking to raise roughly $20,000 to bring the 20-girl team down south to Orlando, Florida for the Universal Cheerleading Association Nationals held on February 8 and 9 at the Walt Disney World Resort.

"Babylon Varsity Cheerleading has evolved greatly over the past couple of years," said Bridgette Rohl on the team's GoFundMe page. "We worked extremely hard every single day in the hopes of qualifying for the National Competition. We have never had the privilege to go to Nationals before, and we were so excited to be approved by our school for the first time to attend."

"This trip means the world to us and we do not want the money to hold us back from reaching our full potential," Rohl also wrote. "Please help the Babylon Varsity Cheerleading team raise money, so we can achieve our goals this season!"
