The West Babylon community will be getting into the Christmas spirit this weekend as the annual tree lighting and parade take place on Saturday.

The parade will start the event off, beginning from 3rd Street and Little East Neck Road and marching all the way to 10th Street.

All parents and children are invited to march in the parade, which will be led by the fire department. Parade participants should meet at 3rd Street between Little East Neck Road and 15th Avenue at 5 p.m.

The parade will include the jolliest man of the season, Santa Claus – the parade is expected to begin when he shows up at around 5:15 p.m.

The tree lighting ceremony is expected to start at around 6 p.m. at the corner of Little East Neck Road and Vermont Avenue.

The Lions Club and Fire Department will also be giving out hot chocolate, candy canes and even some toys.
