LIRR Adds Extra Trains Tuesday for Holiday Rush Home

The Long Island Rail Road has added extra trains for Tuesday, working to get commuters home early for Christmas Eve festivities. The extra trains are:

Babylon Branch:

• 1:28 PM from Penn Station traveling express to Rockville Centre and then local to Babylon
• 1:53 PM from Penn Station stopping at Jamaica, Rockville Centre, then traveling local to Babylon.
• 2:22 PM from Penn Station traveling express to Rockville Centre and then local to Babylon
• 2:32 PM from Penn Station traveling express to Lynbrook and then local to Babylon
• 3:00 PM from Penn Station stopping at Jamaica, Rockville Centre and traveling local to Babylon
• 3:31 PM from Penn Station traveling express to Rockville Centre and then local to Babylon  

Port Jefferson Branch:

• 2:08 p.m. from Penn Station stopping at Jamaica, Mineola and local, including Hicksville, to Huntington.
• 2:29 p.m. from Penn Station stopping at Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Jamaica, New Hyde Park and then local, including Hicksville, to Huntington
• 3:24 p.m. from Penn Station stopping at Jamaica, Mineola, Westbury and Hicksville.
  

• 12:46 PM from Penn Station stopping at Woodside, Jamaica, Mineola, Hicksville and local stops to Ronkonkoma, including Bethpage and Farmingdale.
• 1:38 PM from Penn Station stopping at Woodside, Jamaica, Mineola, Hicksville and local stops to Ronkonkoma, including Bethpage and Farmingdale.
