Old Fashioned Village Christmas Set for December 6

Holiday tradition in the village's downtown will kick off at 5 p.m. that Friday.

Get out the winter coats and join the town on December 6 for a night on the town as Babylon Village celebrates its Old Fashioned Village Christmas.

The annual event will take place in the downtown area of Babylon along Deer Park Avenue and East and West Main Street on that Friday. The event is sponsored by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce.

The holiday tradition kicks off at 5 p.m. and lasts all evening through to 9 p.m.

Village shops will have holiday specials available – so remember to shop local for your loved ones this season. Holiday music, outdoor snacks and treats and a wonderful time is expected by event organizers.

Santa Claus will ride up and down Deer Park Avenue starting at 5:30 p.m., being pulled on a horse-drawn carriage. Children will be invited into the carriage for a photograph with the holly jolly one.

Parking on Deer Park Avenue and Main Street will be free – most meters will be covered in red to allow for easy parking to access your village shops during the season.
