I Need A "Pintervention"

I am going to come right out and admit that I am not Martha Stewart.. nor am I totally crafticapped. Our house has had some dinners that I made up with what I found in the cabinets and had my husband raving… but we’ve also had some unfortunate run-ins with glue guns and paint that I would rather not speak of.  Thankfully they were mostly in our old house, so nobody needs to know about them. Until I decide to blog about it. Hmm. Anyway, that is the long way of saying that I am now borderline obsessed with Pinterest. Mix in the nesting and the spring season and I am basically done for.

So far, I have made Oreo / marshmallow treats, brownies with peanut butter deliciousness inside, cookie dough truffles, oreo bark, pretzel buttons and of course Easter / Spring S’mores Treat Bags. I also made most of these during the height of my morning (aka all day) sickness and pregnancy exhaustion timeframe, so rest assured that they are not complicated and the results are well worth any attempt that you make! 

I have pinned ideas for the baby’s room, our closets, the yard, the dog and everything from post-baby exercising motivation to a cleaning schedule. What ISN’T on Pinterest? And why has it taken so long for something like this to come out? 

This site has become both a huge help in getting new ideas and sparking my creativity, but also a huge time suck where I sit there and look things up instead of doing a project around our house. We sort of have a deadline coming in the next 7 weeks (give or take) and the procrastination is not helping my OCD tendencies.
