This year's recipient of the Conklin Award for Volunteerism is proudly being presented to the Babylon Village Fire Department for their ongoing help and service before, during and after Super Storm Sandy. The celebration is being held on Sunday, Sept. 29th at 3:00pm at the American Legion Hall on Grove Street in Babylon Village. Hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, beer, wine & soda will be served and admission is $20 per person. To reserve space, call Conklin House at 669-8164. Come show your support and appreciation of our local volunteer fire fighters.
