Is LIPA's infrastructure up-to-par?
We asked readers what they thought of the LIPA power system, especially following four outages of over 200+ homes in the last month right after storms.
Paul: "I believe LIPA's infrastructure is up to the task however more maintenance is needed to prevent outages. It sounds simple but more tree trimming is needed to increase reliability. I wish they would stop spending on the expensive renewable energy projects and spend more on maintenance and reliability, especially with abundant less expensive coal and natural gas generation available."
Niche Gimberlein: "Get the wires underground. Wind can't attack there."
What should replace L&B Lincoln-Mercury?

Brandy Smith Seyfried: "WHOLE FOODS!"
Lauren Atchison: "Trader Joe's!"
Christian Minucci: "Chucky E Cheese."
