Arrest Report: Armed Robberies, Burglaries

A look at recent arrests in the area.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • A Bay Shore man was arrested in Babylon on May 30 on a charge of possession of a hypodermic instrument. 
  • A Melville woman was arrested in Babylon on May 30 on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

  • A Babylon woman was arrested in Babylon on May 27 on a charge of harassment. 
  • Maria Madrid, of North Amityville, was arrested in West Babylon on May 31 on a charge of acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17 years old and third degree assault. 
  • Alfred Russell, of North Amityville, was arrested in West Babylon on May 29 on a charge of third degree burglary. 
  • Sergio Marmol, of West Babylon, was arrested in Copiague on May 26 on a charge of third degree robbery.
