Babylon Incident Report: Mar. 17 to Mar. 23

The latest in reported incidents in and around Babylon Village and West Babylon.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted.

Mar. 17

Police were called to a storefront on E. Main Street at 12:45 a.m. that had an interior alarm going off, notifying authorities automatically.

A robbery occured on Park Avenue at 10:31 p.m. The victim was held at knife point and surrendered his wallet to the robbers.

Mar. 18

An assault was reported on 13th Street in West Babylon at 2:20 a.m. The victim reported three black males and one black female attacked him.

Mar. 20

Police were called to the Marshall's store in West Babylon at 6:30 p.m. after a woman reportedly stole three purses from the shelves.

A frightened son called police during a fight between his brother and mother on Old Farmingdale Road in West Babylon at 8:50 a.m.

Mar. 21

Police were called to a home in West Babylon on Herzel Boulevard at 9:45 p.m. after a reported assault between a 16 year old man and his mother.

Mar. 23

A harassment call was made by a man whose ex-girlfriend refused to leave his home on Windmill Avenue in West Babylon at 4:15 p.m. Reports say she was waiting outside his home in a black vehicle before police arrived.
