Babylon Incident Report: May 5 to May 11

A string of home burglaries hits West Babylon during the past week.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted.

May 6

A burglary was reported at a home on Lodge Place in West Babylon at 8:30 a.m. Items were taken from the home, according to police.

A possible scam was reported from a home on 3rd Street in West Babylon at 11 a.m.

May 7

A burglary was reported at a home on Cheltenham Road in West Babylon at 7:30 a.m. Suspects accessed home through a window.

An attempted burglary was reported on Saint Johns Place in West Babylon at 11 a.m. Damage was found to the screen of back door on a residence there.

A burglary was reported at a home on Bliss Street in West Babylon at 10 a.m. 

May 9

Police were called to a home on Albermarle Avenue in West Babylon after a reported fight between a family and an intoxicated man at 9:45 p.m.

A home reportedly has its copper stolen and was damaged by burglars at 9 p.m. on Nevada Road in West Babylon.

May 10

Police were called to a home on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon with damage to its property at 2:30 p.m.
