Babylon Incidents Report: Jan. 27 to Feb. 4

Incidents reported to the Suffolk County Police Department in our area over the last week.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted.

Jan. 27

A complaint of Harassment was reported to Suffolk PD by a resident on Bayview Avenue in Babylon Village at 4:45 p.m.

An Assault was reported on Venedia Street in West Babylon at 8 p.m.

An act of Criminal Mischief was reported to police on Spruce Road in West Babylon at 12 a.m.

Jan. 28

Police responded to a call concerning Criminal Mischief on Railroad Avenue by white male at approximately 1:50 a.m.

Jan. 29

A complaint of Harassment on Fulton Street in West Babylon was made to police at 9:15 p.m.

Police responded to an act of Criminal Mischief, concerning an object thrown through a store window on West Main Street in Babylon Village overnight.

Jan. 30

Police responded to an alleged assault and harassment of a landlord by a tenant at the Munch Apartments in West Babylon at 2:40 p.m.

Jan. 31

A burglary was reported on Supwams Avenue in Babylon Village at 8:15 a.m. Contents stolen included jewelry.

An overnight act of Criminal Mischief to a vehicle occurred on Kellum Street in West Babylon.

Feb. 1

Police responded to a call concerning Criminal Mischief on Bedell Street in West Babylon. At approximately 2 a.m., an unknown person smashed a rock through a window.

Feb. 3

A male tenant allegedly pushed a female landlord on West Lake Drive in West Babylon at  11 a.m. Police responded to the same address for a call concerning Grand Larceny.
