The latest in reported incidents in and around Babylon Village and West Babylon.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted.

Mar. 24

An assault at the Seabreeze Cafe on Fire Island Avenue in Babylon Village was reported at 1:40 a.m. A man was reportedly bleeding from the head following a fight.

Mar. 25

A phone scammer was reported from a home on Sawyer Avenue in West Babylon at 3:20 p.m. The scam call was a part of a similar effort police have warned residents against.

A domestic fight was reported on 13th Avenue in West Babylon at 7:40 a.m. when a husband hit his wife in front of their child.

Mar. 26

Police responded to a harassment call between a male neighbor and garbage men in Babylon Village on Jackson Avenue at 10:30 a.m.

Mar. 28

A Grand Larceny was reported on Putnam Avenue in West Babylon of a vehicle at 6:20 p.m. The victim reportedly left their keys in the vehicle.

Mar. 29

An assault was reported at the Dairy Barn on Sunrise Highway in West Babylon at 11:15 p.m. The accused was reportedly a white female with black hair.

Two robberies occured at homes on 5th St and 7th Avenue in West Babylon between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
