Man Hospitalized After Robbery in Deer Park

A man walking in a parking lot in Deer Park last Friday night needed to be hospitalized after being robbed by an unknown man, police said. 

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Dunton Avenue, near the Deer Park Long Island Rail Road station.

Police: Man Arrested 20 Minutes After Robbing Babylon Chase Bank

A man who police say robbed a Babylon Village Chase Bank Friday afternoon didn't make it very far before being placed in handcuffs. 

George Swanton, 54, of Brentwood, was arrested about 20 minutes after the robbery at the bank located at 31 W. Main Street, police said.

Police: Teen Charged in Lindenhurst Armed Robbery

A Wyandanch teen was arrested following an armed robbery in Lindenhurst Monday night, police said.

Police said Taieek Smith, 18, displayed a handgun and demanded money from someone inside a residence on 43rd Street around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Police Asking for Public's Help to Identify West Babylon Bank Robber: 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a West Babylon Bank earlier this month. 

Police said a man entered the TD Bank, located at 701 W. Montauk Highway, on Jan. 8 at 11:56 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash.

Babylon Village Chase Bank Robbed Again

The Chase Bank on West Main Street in Babylon Village was robbed Friday afternoon, according to police.

The 911 call came in at 12:06 p.m., police said. It's the second robbery at the bank this month. It was also robbed on Jan. 2.
