Driver in Fatal Hit and Run Wanted

Police are asking the public's help to identify the person who killed Jennifer Wheeler.

Suffolk County Police are searching for the driver of the vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run crash in West Babylon last month that killed 30-year-old Jennifer Wheeler.

Wheeler, pictured, was struck by a vehicle on westbound Sunrise Highway, 500 feet west of Jerome Avenue, on Oct. 7 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Wheeler, of North Lindenhurst, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

I miss jenn. I really do, I think about you every day. Im still having a hard time with this. I have great memories of you, with you. You were my first love and you never forget that. You have the most amazing little girl shes so beautiful I swear she looks just like you <3 I have a baby now too, little boy he has my name. Im married now too. Every body grows older jenn even me ;) hope your looking down at us all smiling from heaven. Love you mukee and im sorry for what happened. till we meet again........
