The speed limit is 30 mph on the local streets, so many drivers have to rush to get to the next corner. This poor victim is cripled in the hospital unable to go anywhere. The Law pities the driver wh needs his car to drive to get groceries get to court get his car damage fixed. Oh the pity! The law should be : Those driver should become pedestrians until their victims are out of the hospital or at least a couple of day after the funerals.

I just wanna ad that this case is not as minimal as reported, the pedestrian Is currently fighting for his life... And I really refuse to belive that this driver wasn't speeding by the amount of trauma the victim recieved.

they need to put people in jail for a weekend or something if your disobeying the law if your speeding and you hurt someone then you should have to pay. its a tough situation but people need to understand that pedestrians have the right of way no matter what! the rules of the road are set for a reason not for people to pick and choose when and how they willl follow the law. if this guy was going the speed limit and driving correctly there would have been minimal to no! accident.
