Man Shot Twice Outside a West Babylon Bar

First Precinct detectives are looking for information on incident outside Maggie's Bar.

Suffolk First Precinct detectives are investigating a shooting outside of Maggie’s Bar in West Babylon early Sunday morning in which a male was shot twice in the left calf.

Police say the incident, which took place in front of 995 Straight Path, occurred at 3:13 a.m. and was reported by a 911 caller. Police say the victim was standing at the entrance to the bar’s parking lot when the shooting occurred. He drove himself to Good Samaritan Hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
