Suffolk County Police said 21 year-old Christian Warren was in front of his home on Wright Street in West Babylon at around 4:30 p.m. on Monday when he was shot by a person who fired from a passing vehicle.

Wright was struck in the face by at least one bullet and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.

Wright was later transferred to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

Hutchinson was arrested on Thursday and is scheduled for arraignment at First District Criminal Court in Central Islip today.
