Police Report: Vehicles Vandalized in West Babylon

Incidents in Babylon Village and West Babylon between September 10th and September 16th.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and doesn't indicate convictions.

Incidents

September 10th

  • West Babylon – A white male was reported to have been standing over complaintant while she was sleeping at 3 a.m. on 11th Street
  • West Babylon – A subject was found in the roadway at Old Bergen Avenue at 10:54 p.m.
  • West Babylon – Criminal vandalism on a vehicle on Margo Drive at 10:30 p.m., on Bedell Street at 11 p.m., on 7th Street was reported at 11 p.m.

September 11th

  • West Babylon – Criminal vandalism on vehicles included A Street at 1 a.m.,  Kane Place at 2:30 a.m. and Throop Street at 3:15 a.m.

September 13th

  • West Babylon – Police were called for a burglary of items in a room on Platt Avenue at 8:54 a.m.
  • Babylon Village – Police called for an assault involve a boyfriend and two complaintants at a coffee shop on Depot Place at 1 a.m.
  • West Babylon – Exboyfriend allegedly harassing complaintant on 5th Street at 12:55 a.m.

September 14th

  • West Babylon – Police were called for a harassment charge on Hollings Road at 1:45 a.m.
  • West Babylon – Police responded to a grand larceny on Amsterdam Avenue on a 1998 silver Honda at 1 p.m.
  • West Babylon – Items were stolen from a home on Belmont Avenue at 7:45 a.m.
  • West Babylon – Police called for reported criminal mischief to vehicles at Security Professionals Inc. on Route 109 at 2 a.m.

September 16th

  • West Babylon – Known male was seen breaking into a neighbor's home by a complaintant on 10th Avenue at 3:20 a.m.
