Police Seeking Help in Babylon Grand Larceny

Unidentified suspect stole credit cards from a vehicle in Babylon Village.

The Suffolk County Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding a man accused of stealing a wallet with credit cards from a vehicle in Babylon in April earlier this year.

According to the Suffolk County Police, an unknown suspect entered a vehicle in Babylon Village between 8 p.m. April 3rd and 9 a.m. April 4th, 2012 on Ernest Place and stole a wallet and its contents. The suspect allegedly used credit cards in the wallet at mulitple locations throughout Babylon Village, North Babylon and West Babylon.

The unknown person was later captured at one of these locations using the stolen credit card on camera.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
