Robber Hits West Babylon Roslyn Savings Bank
Suffolk Police are looking for a white male with a chin strap beard.
Police are looking for the man who robbed a Roslyn Savings Bank branch in West Babylon at about 11:09 a.m. Saturday and fled on foot heading north through the bank parking lot.
According to a police report the white male entered the bank at 653 Montauk Highway and handed a teller a note that threatened violence and demanded cash. The teller complied, said police, and the robber fled.
The robber is described by police as a 5 feet 8 inches tall white male in his 20s, with a thin build, brown hair and a chin strap beard. He was wearing a red baseball hat, dark sunglasses, a white-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
