Sister of Gilgo Beach Victim Trying to Raise Money for Crime Stoppers Award

Victim's family wants to add to the reward offered by Suffolk County for information leading to an arrest in the Gilgo Beach killer case.

, sister of , believed to be one of the victims of the Gilgo Beach serial killer, is trying to keep the focus on the unsolved case from her home in Norwich, Connecticut.

In an attempt to raise another $5,000 to add to the currently offered $25,000 Suffolk County , she's hosting a fundraiser tomorrow, April 21, in Colchester, Connecticut.

Cann, who's banded together with other victims' families and made several visits to the location where the remains were found, hopes the increased attention and awareness on the case will bring forth leads needed to identify the killer.

She's created a Facebook page along with Lorraine Watermen Ela, the mother of fellow Gilgo Beach victim  to share information and keep track of the investigation.

The 27-year-old mother of four keeps track of all case information online, and she told the Hartford Courant, "I just want to know. I don't want to die not knowing who took my sister's life."
