The Police Blotter: August 28th through September 4th

The Labor Day weekend was full of arrests in our area, including DWIs and multiple drug charges as well as many out-of-towners.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted.

August 28th, 2012

Cory Bennett from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Jeffrey Annett from Babylon Village was arrested in Babylon Village for Contempt in the Second Degree.

Amanda Beal from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Harassment in the Second Degree.

Andrew Van Bourgondien was arrested in West Babylon for four counts of Burglary in the Second Degree.

August 30th, 2012

Tymeek Strong from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Third Degree and Robbery in the Second Degree.

Chantel Flanagan from Wyandanch was arrested in West Babylon for Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.

August 31st, 2012

Spencer Hammond from North Amityville was arrested in Babylon Village for Petit Larceny.

Dustin Lester from Patchogue was arrested in West Babylon for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.

Steven Marrero from Deer Park was arrested in West Babylon for Assault with Intent to Cause Physical Injury with a Weapon.

Kari Reid from River Head was arrested in West Babylon for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle without Owner's Consent.

Muhammad Fulani from Riverhead was arrested in West Babylon for Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Impared by Drugs in the First Degree, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree: Loaded Firearm.

Robert Griffith from Babylon Village was arrested in Babylon Village for Disorderly Conduct.

Jason Cappetta from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.

Mary Wise from Brooklyn was arrested in West Babylon for False Impersonation.
