Major arrests this past week included a Sexual Abuse charge, an escape from jail and a few DWIs.
The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted.
September 19th, 2012
William Estevez from Babylon Village was arrested in West Babylon for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.

Georgio Guinta from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.

Jasmine Lane from Amityville was arrested in West Babylon for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree.
Francisco Martinez from Brentwood was arrested in West Babylon for Escape from Jail or Custody.

Gilberto Sarmiento from Mastic Beach was arrested in West Babylon for three counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree.
Joseph Mawhinney from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Driving While Intoxicated.
September 22nd, 2012
Peter Miller from Amity Harbor was arrested in West Babylon for Driving While Intoxicated.
September 24th, 2012
William Ketcham Jr from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
