The Police Blotter: September 26th through October 2nd

Police arrests at zero in the village while felony arrests in West Babylon quiet down as well.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted. 

Arrests

September 27th, 2012

Tina Castelli from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree.

Jesse Cairo from Seaford was arrested in West Babylon for Driving While Intoxicated – Previous Conviction within 10 Years.

September 30th, 2012

Michael Zanfradino from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Driving While Intoxicated – First Offense.

October 1st, 2012

Leon Majewski from West Babylon was arrested in West Babylon for Assault with Intent to Cause Physical Injury with a Weapon.

Reported Incidents

September 26th, 2012

A burglary was reported at 12:45 a.m. at a home on Fire Island Avenue, although there were no signs of a break-in.

A man was shot in a drive-by shooting in West Babylon on Centerwood Street at 6:38 p.m.

September 30th, 2012

Criminal Mischief reported at the Fancy Lee Restaurant in Babylon Village at 12 midnight. A glass front door to the restaurant was shattered.

An incident of harrassment was reported on Walker Street in West Babylon at 10:45 a.m. as an ex-girlfriend of a resident was violent and reportedly wrecked the home before leaving.

An intoxicated man was reported for Assault when he threw his wife's clothing outside his home on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon at 11:14 p.m.
