This week's Police Report details incidents and arrests that occurred between January 13, 2011 and January 20, 2011.
The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.
ARRESTS
January 19, 2011
Justin Canning, of Babylon, was arrested in Lindenhurst and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.
Aaron Pinto, of Babylon, was arrested in Lindenhurst and charted with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

David Throo, of North Babylon, was arrested in Babylon and charged with criminal contempt.
January 16, 2011
Franjely Morel, of Babylon, was arrested in West Babylon and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

An act of criminal mischief, possibly involving a window being smashed, was reported on Cedar Lane.

A harassment incident was reported on Heathcote.

An incident of grand larceny, involving a purse, was reported at the Babylon Carriage House.
January 15, 2011
A criminal mischief incident was reported on Main Street.
An Ellen Avenue resident reported that windows were broken on a vehicle.
