Police Report: DWIs, Harassment Incidents

This week's Police Report details incidents and arrests that occurred between Feb. 16 and Feb. 27.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding arrests and incidents. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges as noted. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

ARRESTS

Feb. 27

John Walsh, of North Babylon, was arrested in Babylon and charged with DWI in the first offense and criminal contempt in the second degree.

Feb. 24

Lindsey Rude, of Babylon, was arrested in Babylon and charged with DWI.

Erik Hansen, of Babylon, was arrested in West Babylon, and charged with loitering and unlawful use of a controlled substance.

Brian Napolitano, of West Babylon, was arrested in Babylon and charged with criminal contempt in the first degree.

Feb. 18

Charles Stewart, of North Babylon, was arrested in Babylon and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Feb. 16

Jared Goldstein, of North Babylon, was arrested in Babylon and charged with falsely reporting an incident.

INCIDENTS

Feb. 25

An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Cooper Street.

Feb. 24

An incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Railroad Avenue.

Feb. 23

A burglary incident was reported on Midway Street.

Feb. 21

A Stowe Avenue resident reported an incident of aggravated harassment.

Feb. 20

A Beachwood Drive resident reported a domestic dispute.

Feb. 19

A Fire Island Avenue resident was found assaulted and bleeding.

A Montrose Avenue resident reported a credit card taken from a purse.

An incident of grand larceny was reported by a Liberty Avenue resident.
