Two Injured in Weekend Crash in West Babylon

Crash occurred at intersection of Hubbards Path and Sunrise Highway.

Two men were hurt after a two-vehicle crash on Hubbards Path in West Babylon on early Sunday morning, police said.

According to Newsday, a 2006 Acura driven by a Babylon Village man collided with a 2008 Jeep driven by an Amityville man around 6 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of the Hubbards Path and the Sunrise Highway service road.

According to police, the collision happened in the northbound lane of Hubbards Path.

The two men were taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

West Babylon Fire Department crews responded to the accident, helping the men escape the vehicles.
