Police: Man Pulls Knife on Television Crew Filming at Plesser's

Plesser's own Alan Howard sprang into action to help nab a man who police said pulled a knife on a television crew Saturday afternoon.

A man pulled out a kitchen knife and threatened to kill members of a television crew filming inside of Plesser's Appliances in the village Saturday afternoon, police said.

Police arrested Carlos Borbon, of Brookhaven, with the help of Plesser's workers, including owner Alan Howard, and members of the crew, who chased the 29-year-old down Main Street, police said.

The incident began around 2 p.m. when Bordon noticed the crew from the Animal Planet show, "Tanked," shooting at Plesser's. Borbon got into an altercation with some of the members of the crew and pulled out the kitchen knife, police said.
