West Babylon Man Arrested for DUI in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania police say Christopher Rubino was driving drunk on the way to court for a previous drunk driving charge.

Pennsylvania State Troopers have placed a West Babylon man under arrest for driving under the influence while on the way to a court hearing for a previous DUI charge.

According to the Pottsville Republican, Christopher Rubino, 54, of West Babylon, was on his way to Pottsville, Penn., for a hearing on a previous driving under the influence charge when he was pulled over by state troopers.

He arrived late to his 10:30 a.m. preliminary hearing on Friday after the state troopers brought him to the court room following his arrest. The hearing was continued and a bail hearing started instead where Magisterial District Judge James K. Reiley set Rubino's bail at $20,000.

Rubino was originally arrest on April 27 in Pottsville for driving under the influence and having a blood alcohol content three times the legal limit.

Rubino is currently being held in Schuylkill County Prision.
