Police say a man entered the bank, located at 701 W. Montauk Highway, around 11:55 a.m., approached a teller, and produced a note stating that he had a gun and demanded cash.
The teller complied with the demand and gave the man cash from the drawer, police said. The robber fled on foot eastbound through the parking lot.
The robber is described as a white male, with light brown hair, around 5-feet-10, 25-30 years-old, with a thin build. He was unshaven, wearing a grey Hollister sweatshirt, black baseball hat and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
The robbery was reported at 11:56 a.m. at the bank located at 701 Montauk Highway.
No arrests have been made.
