Yaphank Man Charged With Robbing W. Babylon Bank

Suffolk County Police arrested Bryan Fuge, of Yaphank, for the June robbery of the Suffolk Federal Credit Union Bank.

The Suffolk County Police Department announced the arrest of Bryan Fuge in connection with the  of the West Babylon Suffolk Federal Credit Union Bank.

Fuge, 30, of Yaphank, was charged with Robbery in the Third Degree and scheduled for arraignment today at the First District Court in Central Islip.

According to police, Fuge entered the bank at around 2:30pm and handed a teller a note announcing a robbery and demanding cash, according to Suffolk County detectives. The teller followed his demands and gave Fuge cash from the drawer.

After taking the money, he fled on foot and headed south through the parking lot from the bank located at 50-108 Route 109. Police did not say how much money the robber was able to get away with.

A photo, taken from a security camera at the scene, was used to help police track him down back in June.
