Additions, Mother-Daughter Use on Board of Appeals Agenda

The board will hear four applications at its next meeting on Feb. 15.

The Babylon Village Board of Appeals will hear four applications during its meeting next week at village hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. The applications include:

A request by Alice Peplinski, of Cockenoe Avenue, to continue a mother/daughter use. 

The application of Janice Dolitsky, of Park Avenue, to maintain a 10 ft. by 15 ft. accessory building in the side yard which requires a variance to reduce the minimum side yard setback from 6 ft. required to 1.9 ft. proposed.

An application by Alice Guercio, of Fire Island Avenue, Babylon, to construct an addition requiring variances to reduce the minimum side yard setback from 6 ft. required to 4.8 ft. proposed, to reduce the total side yard setback from 20 ft. required to 14.5 ft. proposed and to increase lot coverage from 25 percent permitted to 39 percent proposed.

A request by Rhonda Sentochnik, of Midway Street, Babylon, to construct an addition on the premises located at 67 Midway requiring variances to reduce the front yard setback from 30 ft. required to 13.7 ft. proposed and reduce the minimum side yard setback from 6 ft. required to 4.4 ft. proposed.
