Blizzard Update: Babylon Powered Up
While 20 Babylon Town customers were without power Saturday morning, none were in the village.
The blizzard that dumped at least a foot of snow on most of Long Island did not knock many Babylon area residents off the grid.
According to the Long Island Power Authority outage map, all Babylon Village customers had power a little before 7 a.m. on Saturday. Of the 20 town residents without power, most were in Amityville.
All residents and businesses can report at outage by calling LIPA at 800-490-0075 or 631-755-6900.
