UPDATE: Babylon Branch Service Back to Normal

One hour after the Long Island Rail Road issued an alert that service on the Babylon branch is being impacted by a signal glitch west of the Jamaica station the MTA says service should be back to normal tonight.

Babylon train service is expected to be on normal schedule following an MTA alert mid afternoon that stated the cancellation of Babylon trains.

The Long Island Rail Road now reports the evening rush to be normal and that commuters should disregard earlier alerts of delays and cancelled trains.
