HSBC Bank Robbed in West Babylon

Police are investigating yesterday afternoon's bank robbery.

HSBC Bank in West Babylon was the target of a robbery yesterday afternoon and police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.

According to the Suffolk County Police, a man entered HSBC in West Babylon, located at 85 Farmingdale Road, at 3:42 p.m. and handed a teller a note announcing the robbery and demanding cash. The teller complied and gave the man cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot east through the bank parking lot towards Little East Neck Road. 

The man is described as white, in his early 20s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall to 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium build. He was clean shaven and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with graphics on the front, dark plastic sunglasses, and blue jeans.
