The Babylon Village Highway Department digs up field next to Railroad Avenue playground to address neighborhood water issues.
The Railroad Avenue village playground saw some major upheavals this week, as Sanitation head Skip Gardner and his crew dug up the grassy lot to fix neighborhood flooding issues.
Nearby resident Kim Huber was hopeful the lot could be improved as well.
"It was just an empty grass field. Maybe they could add some trees, for shade, or make it useable for a sport."
